The problem of tears at birth has not yet received an effective preventive solution, but now, the medical device from Doni Life is coming to change the reality. The medical device aims to enter every delivery room in the world and become an integral part of the safe birth experience.
“Tears at birth are very common, especially in first births, where the figure stands at 80% of mothers who experience tears to some degree,” Says Prof. Osnat Valfish, director of the Helen Schneider Women’s Hospital in Billinson and chairman of Donnie Life’s advisory committee. “However, no solution has yet been found that can guarantee a woman that the structure of her perineum will remain intact during childbirth. Many women have to deal with tears that affect their lives and their daily routines,” adds Prof. Walfish.
